WHAT A WONDERFUL READ!

This little paperback love story by David Sodergren (ISBN 9798800159837) MADE MY WEEK.  It's not terribly realistic, BUT WHAT FANTASY NOVEL EVER IS?

CLIFFIE'S NOTES:

>> The human protagonist is struggling with TYPICAL NAKED APE PROBLEMS.  She's getting older, she's lost her husband, and looking at possibly losing her home. But ALL THAT CHANGES when she finds piscatorial love!

>> Now she has entirely new elements to adjust to.  Why doesn't her new love interest have a name?  Where exactly did he come from?  Why is she so drawn to him?  Where do they go from here?

>> A lot of what she's fighting in this story NEVER HAPPENS to our real recruits.  They're just story elements, as the Naked Apes call them.  But remember, everyone, that EACH HUMAN HAS STORY ELEMENTS that come into play.  They are the only ones who don't realize yet how fleeting and unimportant they are.

>> This little book reminds me strongly of MRS. CALIBAN, but the story here is more dramatic and has a much more drastic ending.  It's even happier, though!

So nice to see a story like this that isn't all horrific and meant to scare the reader.
